it's not as dramatic as it sounds. i've just been looking into my egyptian god totem, and it's apparently Maat, or Ma'at, who is the godess of justice and was revered in ancient times. a good person to have in your corner, apparently. i love random facts. they're always good for a laugh. But it's now time for the bad news. my home computer (not my new lappy, the good old machine i have in the front room. the heart and soul of the computers, you might say) is broken. not physically, i don't think, but it's having "issues" let me explain. when you boot it up, it displays the windows logo, then gives you the blue screen of death. and then restarts itself, giving rise to a cycle of depressing computer malfunction. and since that particular computer is the one my broadband is on, i have no internet. i mean, i know it's an external modem, so i could just hook it into the lappy, but i'd rather not, honestly. the internet does odd things to computers, in my experience, security or no. it's like the internet is alive, and hostile. very hostile. it's brimming with madness. but, because ofuni, i have to use it. so i've been disadvantaged by the lack of internet. I've just started a new, and very short, term at uni. exams are close, but i try not to think of it like that. besides, i've been sick this past week. not pleasant. i'm getting better now, but it was very annoying. on the plus side, i now have a new phone. ok, thats all for today. more when i get a moment, and am online.
